There’s no single Minnesota price. It depends on the farm, the animal’s hanging weight, processing fees and your cut choices. As a national benchmark, USDA’s March 27, 2026 grass-fed beef report put direct-to-consumer quarter-beef offers at an average of $6.23/lb hanging weight without processing and $7.69/lb with processing included.
